MEXICO, San Luis Potosí, cap-and-rays 8 reales, 1867 CA, very rare. KM-377.12; DP-Pi54. 26.96 grams. Lightly toned, well-detailed VF with lots of tiny marks and a few actual chopmarks from circulation in Asia, which is reflected in Dunigan-Parker's statement that "Most of this issue went to the Orient."
